Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

Google earth crashes on Ubuntu karmic on right clicking .
( the display problem , which was present in older versions of Ubuntu seems solved ) .

Did you try using Google earth after disabling Compiz?
Also tell us how did you install Googel-Earth, did you compile it yourself?
Adding more details, about your display adapter may be helpful.
