Bug Description
Binary package hint: xchat
Im using ubuntu lucid and
since update of libgtk2.0 from 2.19.1-1ubuntu1 to 2.19.3-1ubuntu1 on jan 15, the channels in the channel tab stay brown and do not change color when they are read (black), highlighted (blue) or a new message (red) arrived.
i downgraded to 2.19.1 with the deb from the launchpad-archive again and the tab-colors work again.
some kind of incompatibility with that updated gtk-library? perhaps something has to be updated in xchat too?
if you need more information, please ask.

an addition for those who have the problem too:
I now use "LD_LIBRARY_ PATH=/path/ to/extracted/ old/libgtk xchat" to start xchat,
because with globally downgraded libgtk gnome will not start.
