Bug Description
The fix to bug 344023 now has testtools raising errors with text like "setUp not called". This is confusing to many users, who rightly understand that setUp and tearDown are called automatically.
Instead, the error should explain that the base setUp & tearDown methods are called, and perhaps even provide suggestions on how to call them.
