My laptop computer type Acer Aspire 5920G crashed during normal operation. I got the ttf error message during installation of different programs on my Ubuntu 9.10 dektop operating system. The system crashes from time to time during normal operation.

This is due to a corrupted hint file. To workaround it, open a terminal and run the following commands:
$ sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/ttf-dustin.prerm
$ sudo apt-get remove --purge ttf-dustin
$ sudo apt-get clean

Then try performing the install again. If it fix your issue then set the status of this report to 'invalid' . Thanks in advance.
