Bug Description

I have per-package upload rights to the "kubuntu" set of packages in the Ubuntu Main archive. (In addition to the universe component, which I have full access to as a MOTU) While I can confirm/reject SRU nominations for Universe packages, I can't, however, confirm/reject SRU nomination for any of the packages in the Kubuntu package set; the UI is the same as if I did not have the privileges to do so. As a kubuntu-dev, I really need to be able to confirm/reject SRU nomination for the packages I have upload rights to.

Is this the queue page you're talking about?

e.g. https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+queue

I don't think I said anything about a queue, but rather nominating bugs for Ubuntu series's.

It would help if you used URLs so that we can see which page you're talking about, instead of guessing.

Yes, I need more info, too. Can you walk me through an example URL path you take, i.e. I click on X and go to Y? And then what tell me what you expect to see happen versus what you actually see.

Thanks. Cheers,
deryck

It's not a page. Any bug that is nominated for a milestone has a button on it to either confirm or decline the nomination. This button does not show up for packages that I have upload rights to in the Kubuntu package set, where it does show up for packages in universe by virtue of my being part of the MOTU team.

BugNomination.canApprove does not take into account packagesets. It should use can_upload_to_archive (like the EditBranch security adapter).
