Bug Description

I'm a Mythbuntu 9.10 (amd64) user who had to upgrade to 2.6.32 kernel in order to properly use HDMI video output with the Intel Xorg driver which was not working well due to bug #340212.

However, according to my own experience and due to:

https://lists.linux-foundation.org/pipermail/bugme-janitors/2009-December/018581.html

the /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm method of waking up the computer fails completely ("cat /proc/driver/rtc" eventually shows everything's OK but the computer won't wake up).

I'm filling this "future" bug because it will obviously show up when Lucid Lynx is out.

Howdy, and thank you for helping to improve Mythbuntu by opening this ticket. Since Mythbuntu uses the stock Ubuntu kernel, there is nothing that the Mythbuntu project can do to fix this. Forwarding to Ubuntu kernel.

Appears to be low risk. Ubuntu kernel team may want to pull in this in

This may be the actual commit that Andrew mentions in the upstream bug:
