kmail sent message, error: transport <name> not valid

Version 1.12.2
Sous KDE 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)

full executable path.
/usr/bin/kmail

kmail refuse d'envoyer mon courriel sortant.
Une fois la fenêtre "modifier un transport" paramatrée sur 'smtp.free.fr', la fenêtre de configuration Kmail ne permet pas d'enregistrer les modifications. apres reboot kmail enregistre les modifications, mais aucune configurations ne fonctionne.
Envoi des courriel impossible, message d'erreur: "le transport <...name....> n'est pas valable.

Why can't you save the config ? Do you have an error message ?

The screenshot is what I used for years to send mails via smt.free.fr
