Bug Description

On a fresh install of v1.2.2 on Linux with Postgres 8.2, we're finding that the first N fields of Edit Profile aren't editable. IE's pointer doesn't change to the caret, indicating that it doesn't recognize what's under it is text either in places that it should. (The effect is similar to the lack of mouseover feedback that you see with non-editable fields as defined by the site configuration.)

On Contact Information, Town is the first field that works. On Messaging, none of the fields are editable, same goes for General.

This seems to happen regardless of the theme chosen. Tested in IE8 with compatibility view and in raw IE7.
