This always happens on 64-bit VirtualBox VMs. It does not affect 32 bit versions of Ubuntu.

It happens with 32 bits as well on virtual box too.

This bug has been fixed in the latest version of XORG. Can anyone confirm that this has been patched on the 32-bit version as well? If so; you can set the status to "Fix released".
