Bug Description
In .47 version trying to import a *.ps file (a drawing exported from Qcad) with paper size A4 is OK. But changing paper size, eg A2, Inkscape doesn't import the drawing correctly: only a "cropped" part of the paper.
looks like the same issue as described in /bugs.launchpad .net/inkscape/ +bug/264044> /bugs.launchpad .net/inkscape/ +bug/471199>
Bug #264044 “inkscape19770 import/open eps clips drawings larger than sheet width”

Bug #471199 in Inkscape: “Importing EPS Clips Image”
<https:/
AFAIU this one and bug #471199 are duplicates of or closely related to bug #264044 though there is probably a difference how PS and EPS store paper sizes that are recognized by 'gs' (or ps2pdf). The problem is that ps2pdf (used by Inkscape for PS and EPS import) uses a default paper size of US Letter Portrait and crops (not clips) the converted files to US Letter if no other page size is specified on the command line (using -sPAPERSIZE= or -dDEVICEWIDTHPO INTS=w -dDEVICEHEIGHTP OINTS=h) .
