Bug Description

Wishlist:
If you had "Advanced Authoring Format" implemented for import and export, users could port projects from other standard video editors into this one (and export as well).
There is an Open Source project ( http://aaf.sourceforge.net/ ) available.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think this needs to be researched a bit, and we need to determine the most popular types of EDL (edit decision list), import, export type of files used by some of the most popular video editors. If AAF is the most popular, then we need to find someone who is willing to spend the time to spec out how this might work. Thanks.
