Feature request: Middle button should close chat tab in Empathy

I think that it would be nice to be able to close a chat tab by clicking it with the middle mouse button. This is how most web browsers (Firefox, Chrome and IE) handle middle button clicks on a tab.

A middle mouse button click does not do any thing today.

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu install, that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.

Why has this been marked fix released? Reverting change for now as it seems that aage might have accidentally changed the status

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)
