Binary package hint: likewise-open

Sorry - Plasma Workspace

KDEINIT could not launch /usr/bin/kdesu

whereby .. the existing binary located at
/usr/bin/kdesu_stub
/usr/bin/kdesudo

Chuck, can you give me some more details on this?

  * What ubuntu release?
  * What package release version of likewise-open?
  * Is the failure occurring when trying to launch kdesu as a normal local user or as a domain user?
  * Are there any error messages from kdesu in syslog?

I'd suspect the domain user is not added to the admin group.

In KDE 4 kdesu is not in /usr/bin but /usr/lib/kde4/libexec/
