Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-themes-more

In the GNOME theme SphereCrystal the horizontal scrollbar and the progress bar are shown without the 3D look of the vertical scrollbar and are displayed just in a monochrome violet.

The installed SVG files scrollbar_horizontal.svg and scrollbar_prelight_horizontal.svg in /usr/share/themes/SphereCrystal/gtk-2.0 are displayed correctly with 3D effect in Inkscape, but not in eye-of-gnome. So I'm not sure if this is a bug in the theme or in GTK.

I attached a screenshot to this bug report.

I'm running Ubuntu 9.10.

One can work around this problem replacing the files scrollbar_horizontal.svg and scrollbar_prelight_horizontal.svg with the corresponding files in PNG format (added to this post) in the directory /usr/share/themes/SphereCrystal/gtk-2.0.

Furthermore, all calls to scrollbar_horizontal.svg and scrollbar_prelight_horizontal.svg in /usr/share/themes/SphereCrystal/gtk-2.0/gtkrc must be replaced with the corresponding .png file names. An updated version of gtkrc is added to this post.
