Bug Description
Binary package hint: dictd
Hello, there!
When dictd is installed - or reconfigured using "dpkg-reconfigure -plow dictd" the following line of /etc/default/dictd is commented out during configuration of the package:
#DICTD_
The locale in the commented-out line is automatically adapted to the current locale of the system.
The following line is uncommented instead:
DICTD_ARGS=""
Even if dictd still seems to support Umlaute on my system when the locale setting is commented out any dictionary for dictd I install produces the following warning:
The parameter --locale=
so after installing this package dictd may stop working.
Since Ubuntu has switched to UTF-8 long ago it would be rather simple to get rid of this warning by uncommenting the other line instead.
