Bug Description

Binary package hint: nut

Ubuntu Version: 9.10 x86
Nut: 2.4.1-3ubuntu2
libusb: 0-1.4 (2:0.1.12-13)
usbutils: 0.82-0ubuntu1

I have a problem getting my mustek powermust650 UPS to work with nut (it is officially supported using the megatec_usb driver).

When i try to connect to the UPS i always get:

root@controller:/lib/nut# upsdrvctl start
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.4.1
Network UPS Tools - Megatec protocol driver 1.6 (2.4.1)
Serial-over-USB transport layer 0.10
ser_send_pace: Device detached? (error -1: error sending control message: Device or resource busy)
Successfully reconnected

the kernel log (dmesg) shows me many messages like:

[ 907.862615] usb 1-1: usbfs: process 1414 (megatec_usb) did not claim interface 0 before use

Hi

I'm sorry this was a stupid problem caused by myself. I started the daemon twice and the second one couldn't connect to the UPS.
