gui locks up when loading a stream with many mirrors.

steps to reproduce:
in the shoutcast tab, find a stream with many mirrors (eg Electro->(((EBM Radio)))). attempting to double-click this entry to open it will lock up the ui until the playlist has been fetched from the internet.
