Bug Description

Binary package hint: indicator-session

When setting the /desktop/gnome/lockdown/disable_user_switching flag, the Switch user ... menu entry still remains and works. It would be great if this lock down mechanism would work.

The lockdown works with the recent indicator-session in Lucid:

indicator-session: 0.2.2-0ubuntu1

First disable user switching with gconf-editor, then logout, log back in and user switching is gone.

I can't get it to work on current lucid, suspecting that the user list should be gone once that setting is changed?

for the record, I've set it mandatory, and rebooted etc but still I see some local users listed there, and selecting them "something" happens (dunno what, bug 511134 is preventing to let me see it)

After a reinstall the local users are gone from the menu, but I still see "guest session" there, and selecting it works.
