Thanks for your report.

The relevant message is "gzip: stdout: No space left on device"
Please free some space an retry the upgrade. I'm closing this report because it is not a bug in Ubuntu.

This upgrade was originally interrupted by a power failure yesterday (2-10-2010)

i didn't have a power failure and have plenty of space and still got the error
