Bug Description

Since a few weeks KMail acts weird.

I think it started about a week ago when it reported that the index files of my Inbox were corrupt. I had to remove them and restart KMail. After this everything looked right but after a second restart of some mails the date was not recognized correct.
As you can see in the attachment, my mail is sorted by date and this gives automaticly categories as "Yesterday" ... "November 2008" and so on.
But now an extra category "Unknown" is added in which some mails are set and in this category there is always one empty mail with subject "No subject" and the rest "Unknown". This is an empty mail that if deleted immediately reappears.

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.

Thanks!

Hi
BTW This is not exactly a bug, since during the first few downloads, kmail will need time to download all the data and metadata correctly and organise your mail.If you leave kmail to sync for a few minutes it correctly displays all the dates correctly.
If it still does not, please report this bug at https://bugs.kde.org

Thanks!
