Double click on ubiquity on today's iso. Crash happens before the app opens.

The installer never opened. This was to be the second OS on the drive. The other is 8.04.3.

I did have gparted up prior to trying to install to expand the /home partition of the Hardy installation.

I just ran, in terminal;
1> "sudo apt-get update"
2> "sudo apt-get install ubiquity"
3> "sudo ubiquity"

The installer opened fine.

It would not install as the partitioner did not work. Did not trigger apport.

Quit the installer and opened gparted and made my partitions.

Opened the installer from the desktop link. Partitioner still stopped the installation.
