Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:

Debian has updated automake b-d version to fix ftbfs. So can be synced
again

Changelog since current lucid version 1.1.1+doc-2ubuntu1:

ann (1.1.1+doc-2.1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Non-maintainer upload.
  * Fix FTBFS: use automake1.10 instead of automake in Build-Depends,
