Bug Description

On my two Thinkpads 600X with Ubuntu/Kubuntu Suspend worked until last Kernel update to 2.6.15-25-386. After wakeup sound was mute and arts crashed, but it did work again after reloading the module.

Since 2.6.15-25 both Suspend and SWSUSP crash at putting the sound-module of the built-in chip snd_cs46xx to sleep. After that it either stands at the console with the error or back to X (but no input is working).

Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'alsa-modules-i386'; however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.

I assume it is the module shipped with the standard kernel.
