randamly hangs up my laptop with Dapper when I use firefox

Bug Description

With the Breezy my laptop was rock stable. After upgrading to Dapper, it hangs up randamly, when I use firefox. No mouse, no keyboard, and therefore no bug report. Even the ping does not responds from an another computer.
I tried to install it newly, and tried the prop.ATI driver (I have ATI Radeon Mobility). After that I changed the original 386 kernel to 686. No result. I use now the latest 2.6.15-23-386 kernel.
Has anybody any idea what to try yet?

Thanks for the report. Do you have the very latest kernel for Dapper installed? If so, do you still have this issue?

Also, do you have this problem with the Edgy or Feisty releases?
