Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

When I change the nick name, it's not getting reflected in the users window when connecting to IRC with Pidgin

Steps to Reproduce
-------------------------

                  1. Change the nick name of a user by the command, /nick <name >. For e.g: /nick karthik_afk

                  2. In the main channel, I get the confirmation message. For e.g *You are now known as karthik_afk*

                  3. Look at the list of users window in the right side

Actual Result
-----------------
My username still shows old nick name

Expected Result
---------------------
The username should change and reflect the new nick name i.e karthik_afk

Let me know, if you have any queries

Regards,
Karthik
