Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

I recently did the following:
1. planned a vacation
2. loaded my HTC Android device with music for the vacation
3. using a friend's computer, loaded more music on the device
4. came home
5. connected the device to my computer, and
6. right clicked the device in Banshee, and selected "Import to Library"

What I was trying to accomplish was to import the new music (from step 3) onto my computer. What happened instead was that Banshee began importing ALL of the music on the device to my computer. This was not pleasing, nor what I intended. Therefore, when importing, Banshee should check to see if the song already exists on the computer.

My 1.9.0 git version clone soundfiles like described but adds (1) for the first round, then (2) for the next round and so on. In this case a real file duplication appears.

Sometimes files are sorted and duped to artist/album and various artists/album thats so crazy. Can banshee get bogus import from the taglib?
