Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Did everything "by the book" (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/Tutorials/Subscriptions) and (https://one.ubuntu.com/support/installation/). When I start Ubuntu One, it shows up in the tray, but nothing else happens. I may click on it, select "Connect" etc, nothing. My default browser is Opera, if this helps.

This seem to be an issue that we already fixed, but to get that fix you should install the PPA, see here:

  https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+faq/836

Please try it and let us know.

Thank you!

OTOH, if you don't want to install the PPA, just enable the karmic-proposed source for updates and install the 1.0.3 update.

Thanks!

Facundo,

Thanks a lot for coming back to me on this one! I did not expect that, quite
frankly. Ubuntu holds its mark indeed.

I will give the proposed solution a go and let you know. Thanks again.

Facundo,

Yes, this worked just fine and now I have Ubuntu One folder access from
the File browser! Thanks a mil for pointing me to the right direction.

Sincerely
