Bug Description
Hi,
We are running Xibo in a live public environment on on a couple of machines with the following spec:
XP Pro SP3.
.net 2
and every coulple of weeks one machine throws up a run time error and Xibo closes down. Simply running Xibo again will allow it to run until this happens again.
Could you please let me know which logs you require to trousbleshoot this? If you know of anything obvious I might try to resolve this I would be grateful for your assistance.
Cheers,
Kash

Hi Kash
Which version of Xibo? Did you follow the instructions in the wiki for supressing Windows Error reporting? It's in the .net client install guide.
I'd also suggest upgrading to 1.0.5 when it's available (or use the testing version here: https:/ /answers. launchpad. net/xibo/ +question/ 95507 if it's a major problem for you now).
I don't think the issue is anything to do with the question you've linked to. That was specifically an issue with a corrupt Powerpoint presentation. The instructions on error supression for Powerpoint in the same wiki document will deal with those messages should they occur.
I'm going to mark this incomplete for now as it's not a "bug" as such. The way we generally work is to take questions, and when an issue is confirmed progress it to a bug. That way the bug tracker is a todo list for known diagnosed issues rather than a list of gripes from people with no clear description of how to fix their issues.
Cheers
Alex
