Bug Description

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Please open your terminal, then run "sudo dpkg --configure -a" to fix the problem.

The solution is provided in the error message. This is rather a question not a bug report.

it still not fix my problem, after i type this command, there's an error message shows up like this:
dpkg: parse error, in file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 17567 package 'x11-common':
 `Conflicts' field, reference to `ascd': version contains ` '
anyone can tell me what should i do next??
