i installed postgresql 8.4 but don't job with he, so i removed with command
apt-get remove postgresql-8.4 and after i try install postgresql-8.3 or other version but the error occured.
I can't install postgresql .
The system inform what a error of dependencies occurred.I try too deinstall all postgresql with synaptic but don't work too.

Somehow you broke your system. You do not have postgresql-common installed, but postgresql-8.3 has a hard dependency on it (i. e. the normal package management tools don't even allow you to do that). Please install postgresql-common again, then everything should be fine again.
