"Install Kubuntu" livecd option doesn't start installer

Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

On Kubuntu Lucid daily amd64 desktop livecd, choosing 'Install Kubuntu' in the startup menu does the same as the 'Try Kubuntu without installing' option - it gets to the plasma desktop (with the installer icon available), and nothing more. The installer is not started automatically although clicking the installer icon works fine. The 'Install Kubuntu' option is thus either redundant or not working as it should.

This appears to have been fixed sometime before the Lucid release, as it doesn't occur anymore on the final 10.04 amd64 desktop cd.
