Using Kubuntu 10.04 and xserver-xorg-video-radeon 1:6.12.99+git20091125.0061c4db-0ubuntu1

The desktop is drawn incorrectly as can be seen in attached screenshot. The video card is an Ati Radeon HD 4530.

From the upstream bug report, it sounds like this was solved in mesa. Not sure exactly what the fix was, but am going to assume it's included in mesa 7.7. Please re-test on current lucid and feel free to reopen this bug report if the problem is still there and we can investigate finding/backporting the fix.

I have the idea the corruption occurs less often, but it is still there as you can see in these screenshots.
All updates were installed.

Hans, just to let you know, since this bug appears to be a kubuntu-specific issue I'm not going to do any further work on it. You might want to file your own bug report upstream about it if it's still an issue with latest -ati bits.
