Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When I drag a window from maximized state from the primary monitor to the secondary monitor it only maximize to full height minus taskbar height from primary screen (which is not present on secondary screen). It should maximize to full height.

Clicking the window frame bar jerks it to fully maximized state.

Tried the same thing without Compiz using Metacity and it maximizes correctly.

Setup:
Dual screen 1080x1024 * 2 in TwinView
Nvidia drivers (v. 185.18.36)
Compiz version: 0.8.4 ()
Linux: Ubuntu Jaunty (9.10)

Attached xorg.conf (only configured via Nvidia Settings - no manual editing of this file has been made)

Thanks!

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.
