Not exactly the same but very close.
After screen saver and, and times to times (not always "Helas") the monitor freezes on a blanck screen (no signal).
No way to have a new connexion.
Needed to Hard restart the computer (Power off).
Don't see any things interesting in "system's files"

PS: Key board seems to stay active (leds are actuated and are changing of state normally)
No idea for the mouse off course...

Energy power saver :
Computer "Veille" : never
Screen "Veille" : 30 min

Screen Saver :
Theme : GLMatrix
Computer inactive after : 5 min
Screen saver activated when computer is inactive : Yes

Complement :
The computer on which I've this problem is my local lan server.
Last time key board was also freezed.
BUT all server services for the other computers where continuing to work perfectly : Web access, files access, mail services, DNS, etc..
Alas my SSH sever was incorrectly configured on the server and I couldn't connect the server by a other machine. This is resolved now. Next time the server freeze I'll try to connect it from a user and I'll send you the results.

Best regards

More informations :
connecting from ssh to my server (who was blocked with the screen) : OK
connecting to the server with VNC : NOK (No screen connexion, no password request)
connecting to server with "connect to a server" : OK could navigate trough the folders and "gedit" the .log files (nothing interesting in those files : no specific message when trying to connect/restart the screen, no message when screen begin to be unreachable)
Trying to restart X from ssh : NOK (kill - 9/11 PID ( containing X); startx &)
Tying to restart computer from ssh : OK (sudo shutdown -r now)

Best regards

New test :
To try to overturn the problem I've change "System""Preferences""Power saving" configuration:

Energy power saver :
Computer "Veille" : never
Screen "Veille" : never

In a terminal :

"xset dpms 0 0 600"

And, the computer seems to stop freezing same if the screen goes into sleep mode (real one, with back-light stop).
I will continue to see if this "overturn" is really stable.

Best regards
