Bug Description

My bluetooth dongle works on ubuntu 9.04,but it is not working in 9.10 and 10.04 too(clean install).

The syslog says this :-

and running hcitool scan on terminal outputs this:-

bst@bst-desktop:~$ hcitool scan
Scanning ...
Inquiry failed: Connection timed out

My phone(nokia 6300) detects computer but it doesn't show it as PC(It hints that bluetooth stack is not working properly) and if I try to pair computer from phone, ubuntu doesn't detect any coming request.

I have same problem with knoppix 6.2.Dongle is working with ubuntu 9.04 and windows.
But I like 9.10 and I can't use that because without bluetooth internet(GPRS) is not accessible.Which is very essential for installing new softwares on ubuntu.

Problem resolved by installing bluez 4.32, which was default bluetooth stack in jaunty/ubuntu 9.04.
Also installing blueman helps.
