Bug Description
Release Version 9.10 Karmic
The following errors occur within the kern.log ever few seconds;
"server kernel: [44077.869472] cx88[0]: irq mpeg [0x80000] pci_abort*
Dec 22 08:39:04 server kernel: [44077.869479] cx88[0]/2-mpeg: general errors: 0x00080000"
Each time these occur they cause a glitch, either in the sound or the video decoding of the mpeg stream from my HVR-4000 TV Decoder card. This occurs no matter what software I am using to view the stream.
I have tried switching PCI slots but that does not help. There is an entry in the logs stating that the firmware is loaded ok.
