Bug Description
Ubuntu 9.04 was rock solid for me.
I recently did a clean install on my desktop of 9.10. All is good except I get total lockups about once an evening. The mouse is still functional but not the keyboard (I have enabled <CRTL><
After a bit of research I figure that the Intel Corporation 82845G/
A quick test of Fedora 12 from the live CD also caused a lockup.
I am using 2.6.31-16-generic.
It appears that something in 9.10 must have changed to cause this problem as the system was totally rock solid before the new install.
Have tried:
Option "NoAccel" "true"
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
but neither improve the situaiton
Reassigning to Ubuntu, as this doesn't look like a request to backport a package.
