Bug Description

Binary package hint: bzr

When doing bzr init in my home directory (I want to make my home directory to be a bzr repository, so that I can easily restore accidentally deleted files), it crashes with this error message:

bzr: ERROR: exceptions.UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xe9 in position 24: ordinal not in range(128)
