If I configure autologin in gdm, it works for the initial login in a gdm session. Upon choosing logout from the Session menu, it does not auto login again.
If the gdm service is restarted, autologin will work again as expected for the initial session, but logout fails again.
The expected behaviour is that upon logging out, the gdm will honour the autologin and timedlogin options configured in /etc/gdm/
# cat /etc/gdm/
[daemon]
AutomaticLoginE
AutomaticLogin=
TimedLoginEnabl
TimedLogin=ubuntu
TimedLoginDelay=1
