Crash upon "Edit Message As New" on attached message

I received an automatic "Delivery Failure" message because I misspelled e-mail address. So I decided to simply edit attached e-mail as new, correct the e-mail address and send it again. I right clicked attached <subject>.eml e-mail, invoked "Open" from popup menu and then invoked "Message > Edit Message As New" from the main menu. This crashed my Thunderbird. 100% reproducible.

I apologise if this is already known but I didn't find it among duplicate candidates. Thanks!

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Could you please generate an apport crash report for this?
You can enable apport for one instance like this:
sudo service apport start force_start=1

I am marking this invalid as apport will open a new bug when the crash is generated. If it does not, you can reset the status of this one to New and we will try something else.

So, I did what you said i.e. run that service, reproduced the problem which generated core dump however submission of new bug failed. I was told that I have to first update my libraries: libglib2.0-0, libgtk2.0-0, libgtk2.0-common. Hence I am reopening this bug.

What else can I do to help you fix the problem? Is there any debugging add-on available for installation? Thanks for your support!

OK, so I successfully submitted new bug #499603. You can close this one if you want as you suggested before.
