Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Tried to create Contact Lists following the instuctions. I drop and drag the contacts into my newly created list and hit OK. When I go to it to send an email, all I get is the name of the list and the email of the first contact. The contacts in the list are listed in the Other Emails and only 4 of 6 show. Tried this several times and restarted Evolution Mail in attempt to make it "stick"

Also, I can't control-click or click on a hyperlink in an email I've created to test the link - is there a way to do it?

Have read on line that program can lock up my data or loose my calendar, contacts, etc. Should I be concerned about this? I don't understand the instructions for backing up everything.

Program shuts down unexpectedly at times or locks up and I have to reboot my computer.

Thank you for any assistance that you're able to provide.

I'm new to all of this. Am I supposed to paste all of these into my
Terminal? Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a ".crash" file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer.

If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart.

If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit.
If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report.

I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
