(Xubuntu) Compositor places panel shadow over application status bar.

In Xubuntu 9.10 the panel's shadow is visible through the bottom of a maximized window. It looks like a gray smudge (see attached screenshot). Application windows would look better if they covered the shadow that the panel casts on the desktop.

Thank you for taking the time to make Xubuntu better. Since what you submitted is not really a bug, or a problem, but rather an idea to improve Xubuntu, I am marking it as a wishlist item so it does not get lost in the overall changes coming. This will allow the developers to occasionally work this if there is time permitting.

Panel drop shadow has been disabled in version 4.8 and up.
