Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

After installing (from update-manager), at the same time, firefox 3.0.16 and the new flash-plugin-nonfree version 10.0.1.218 (with the previous version already installed in the system) firefox doesn't detected flash-plugin. To fix this you have to remove flash-plugin and then re-install it.

Tested with Hardy x86

The issue is not present in another installation (8.04 x86-64) where I installed flash-plugin updates some days ago and today I installed firefox 3.0.16.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. If you could test the current Ubuntu development version, this would help us a lot. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running 'apport-collect 498785' in the Terminal, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

I will certainly test it on last stable release as soon as this situation will happen (that is a firefox and flash-plugin update at the same time).
