Bug Description

Dead batteries in Ubuntu 9.10. I use Toshiba L30-101 laptop.

1. If I use Ubuntu 9.04 there is no problem I can use the batteries or the electric cord, everythiung is fine
2. If I upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 the batteries are not working at all. If I take out the electric cord the PC does not boot or just stops.

I hope its better in version 10, but 9.04 works just fine. I upgraded to 9.10 0 using the standard function downgrading took a while.
