Bug Description

Double click on folder full of sub folders ( photos mostly ) gray screen fade, and Nautilus working... Sometimes 30 sec to open. Strange is, when I`m try to open same folder with right click + open from a list menu, Nautilus do this almost instantly?!
I don`t know whats wrong with left double click on folder, Assistive Technology is OFF (some users have issues with this, but in may case this is not).
In fresh installation of Ubuntu 9.10 X64 Nautilus is fast like bolt, after regular installed some applications, Same big folder is inert and slow with left + double click, and strange situation is right click + open working good and faster...
Any Help?

Same situation, I`ll try also with fresh installation. With time Nautilus goes slower, don`t know why. Double click = nothing happens, mark (select) folder and hit Enter button work, trying with different mouse`s same thing, someone know whats happens? Anyone?

I have the same problem even with nautilus 2.32.0 in ubuntu 10.10 maverick. I had it also from ubuntu 9.10 for each ubuntu to now.
I can fix the bug by deleting .gnonf & .gconfd but lose a lot of settings that have be redone. If I knew what specific file/s in these directories were responsible it would be a lot easier.
