Bug Description
Binary package hint: kpackagekit
In 10.04, there is still KPackageKit 0.4.2 (the same as in 9.10), while the 0.5.x series was already out before the work on 10.04 started. The 0.5.x series include localization (translations), a lof of bug fixes and a new Session interface.
More speciffaclly:
- Shows the icons of installed applications
- Session Interface
- Some fixes
- Fix the multiple popups when trying to update automatically and get's errors
- Fix the restart bug once for all
- Fix the huge hangup on starting
- Some other fixes + strings update
- Fix the annoying resizes in transaction dialog (not ideal yet)
- Fix the call to some icons
- Clean the some linkage
- Fix forgot to declare some slots
- Fix some startup problem (spoted by Steven M. Parrish)
- Fix localization in System Setting (thanks to Jonathan Riddell)
- Port to the new PackageKit version
- It has some fixes
Can you please update KPackageKit to the new version? This is a wish for Kubuntu 10.04 LTS.
