Bug Description

The package has a double dependency on Python:

Depends: python (>=2.5)
Depends: python2.5

Since Python 2.6 is the default on Karmic it's really strange to have two python installed

Looking at http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/python-gda this will not be an issue in Lucid, but what about Karmic?
It looks like a packaging issue which can be fixed relatively easy.

Thank you for your bug report, that's fixed in lucid, the binary seems to not useful enough to justify a karmic update
