I'm pretty sure that bzr-explorer 0.10 requires qbzr 0.17. So you'll
need to update your qbzr as well.

Interestingly, the crash report claims that he is using qbzr 0.17.0, but also says that explorer is at version 0.9.0

BzrPlugins:
   bzrtools /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/bzrlib/plugins/bzrtools [2.0.1]
   explorer /home/vladimir/.bazaar/plugins/explorer [0.9.0]
   launchpad /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/bzrlib/plugins/launchpad [2.0.0]
   netrc_credential_store /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/bzrlib/plugins/netrc_credential_store [2.0.0]
   qbzr /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/bzrlib/plugins/qbzr [0.17.0]

I was able to reproduce this by installing explorer 0.9.0 to ~/.bazaar/plugins/explorer while having 0.10.0 also installed in /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/bzrlib/plugins/explorer via package management. Removing the old copy in ~/.bazaar/plugins/explorer resolved the issue.

Do you also have the PPA version installed? If so, can you try removing the old version in ~/.bazaar/plugins/explorer? Does that resolve the issue?

Perhaps, bzr should prefer system installations over user copies?

Do you have an older version of bzr-explorer in
~/.bazaar/plugins/explorer? If so please try removing it. Bazaar
prefers the local version over the system version.

Ah, that's it! I removed ~/.bazaar/plugins/explorer and that fixed the problem. Thanks!
