Bug Description

The version of gammu available from Ubuntu Karmic, 1.24.0, does not work with my phone Nokia 3100. I get the following error:
Error opening device. Unknown, busy or no permissions.

This is not a permission error because:
- /dev/ttyACM* is owned by root:dialout and I'm a member of dialout
- running gammu with sudo doesn't work better.

Now that I upgraded to the latest (1.26.1) using the repository at "http://ppa.launchpad.net/nijel/ubuntu karmic main", everything works as expected.

So I suspect that Gammu 1.26.0 may not be compatible with the karmic kernel.

i have the same problem but i use a kubuntu karmic koala and my phone is a Nokia 3110c.

I guess current version works as "Fix commited" is here for quite some time.
