Bug Description
Binary package hint: xrgb
The lack of this link breaks many old X11 application, as nedit, filerunner, xcolors etc.
This problem as been reported in Ubuntu forums and elsewhere on the net, but not submitted as a bug for the package xrgb.
May be related to bugs: #31620 #43136 #44297 #44923
Kubuntu 6.06 Dapper affected
Workaround:
as root, do:
ln -s /etc/X11/rgb.txt /usr/X11R6/

I would assume that this would be a bug in those applications, not this package.
